How do I become a Knight?
A first degree Knight is a full-fledged fraternal brother. He is
awarded his degree at local ceremony, generally held on a Sunday
afternoon. Brother Knights may also choose to take their second, third
and fourth degrees. Fourth degree Knights are a uniformed presence at
special church ceremonies such as Confirmation.
All you need to do is fill out a membership application available from
any
Brother Knight and return it to your contact Knight. All other
arrangements
will be made for you. There is no initial fee for joining the Knights
of Columbus.
Who should I contact for more information?
If you have questions you can contact the following people or any Brother Knight
for information:

What is my commitment?
Joining the Knights is a commitment to giving yourself a few hours each
month to share in fellowship with Brother Knights. Members meet the
second Wednesday evening of each month in the Grace Room, following 7
p.m. Mass for Fellowship and to plan activities. The second weekend of
each month, the Knights and their families attend Mass together,
followed by coffee hour. The Knights support the church by doing
maintenance projects and helping with youth activities. Plans for
future projects include sponsoring a Basketball Free-Throw Contest and
a campaign to “Keep Christ in Christmas”. Next spring the Knights will
repeat their successful pie sale. Fund raising efforts are directed
toward establishing a scholarship fund and to purchase a memorial to
the Unborn for Holy Name of Mary cemetery.
